Peer Leaders Elementary School Initial Assembly and 3 Classroom Visits

Great Oak High School’s Peer Leaders will be visiting our school to share an engaging and positive program with our students.

The presentation begins with a 25-minute schoolwide assembly themed “Be the One”, which encourages students to be the best version of themselves while supporting and helping others. The assembly features short performances, songs, and interactive elements led by high school juniors and seniors to inspire younger students in a fun, age-appropriate way.

Following the assembly, Peer Leaders will visit individual classrooms to lead 25-minute interactive lessons designed to reinforce the message of kindness, teamwork, and personal growth. These lessons provide opportunities for students to participate, reflect, and practice positive ways to support one another.

This program is fully student-led, giving elementary students an opportunity to learn from positive high school role models while building a stronger connection within our school community.

Dates: Assembly - 9/30/25

Audience: grades 1-5

Presenter: Wheels Squared BMX

Purpose: Wheels Squared BMX Entertainment & Education shows are tailored for TK-12 audiences. They are designed to inspire, uplift, and inform through engaging content that blends fun with meaningful life lessons. Centered around the 4 Hubs of Achievement—Healthy Lifestyle, Follow Your Dreams, Always Be Kind, and Knowledge is Power—the mission is to encourage personal growth, positive choices, kindness, and a curious mind. Laugh, learn, or level up,  to grow into your best self—one hub at a time.

Dates: 9/26/25

Audience: grades TK-5

Presenter: Chess Masters, ASEP SoCal

Purpose:
 Teach a snippet of chess
 Lead an action-packed game of Football Chess
 Inspire critical thinking and teamwork through strategy and play

Dates: 8/25 (during lunch) and 8/26 (in-class presentation)

Audience: grades 1-5
